Inserting a picture from a computer on a slide

  1. Click the slide where you want to insert the image.
  2. On the Insert tab, in the Images group, click the Pictures button.

  3. In the dialog box that opens, find the desired image, select it, and click the Paste button.

  1. Click the slide where you want to insert the image.
  2. On the "Insert" tab, click the "Images from the Internet" button.

  3. (PowerPoint 2016) Make sure that Bing is displayed on the left side of the screen in the Source drop-down list. In the dialog box, type what you are looking for, and then press ENTER.

    (PowerPoint 2013) In the Bing Image Search box, type in the search, and then press ENTER.

    Use size, type, color, layout and licensing filters to customize the results according to your preference.
  4. Click the image that you want, and then click Paste.

Inserting a picture from a collection

Unlike some earlier versions of the application, starting with PowerPoint 2013 in PowerPoint there is no collection of pictures. Instead, the Insert tab provides an Image from the Internet button, which allows you to find and insert the desired picture using the image search tool in Bing.

Inserting a picture or clip art in PowerPoint

On the "Insert" tab, click the "Images from the Internet" button.
For example, by clicking the Images button from the Internet, you can enter a picture of the horse in the search field. As a result, a lot of pictures will be displayed licensed by Creative Commons.
